PGY1 Pharmacy Residency

Each program can be ranked separately with its respective ASHP match number.

Applicant Eligibility

• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the state of California.

• Must be a graduate or candidate for graduation of an accredited pharmacy degree program (or one in process of pursuing accreditation), or have a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) certificate from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP). At a minimum, the program must be a five-year pharmacy degree program.

• Apply for ASHP Resident Matching Program.

For your application to be complete, all of the following materials must be received through Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS) before the due date:
 

• Letter of intent

• Current curriculum vitae

• Official transcripts from a college of pharmacy

• Three completed reference recommendation forms within PhORCAS

You will be notified by the end of January if you are selected for an interview.
 

Interviews                       

Eligible candidates will be invited for an interview between January and March.
