Community Nurse Named "RN of the Year in Clinical Practice"



Jolie Gordon-Browar, MSN, RN, was named “RN of the Year in Clinical Practice” by the Central San Joaquin Valley Nursing Leadership Coalition. Gordon-Browar is a psychiatric liaison nurse for Community Behavioral Health Center at Community Regional Medical Center’s emergency department.

Jolie Gordon-Browar, MSN, RN, was named “RN of the Year in Clinical Practice” by the Central San Joaquin Valley Nursing Leadership Coalition. Gordon-Browar is a psychiatric liaison nurse for Community Behavioral Health Center at Community Regional Medical Center’s emergency department.

She was recognized for excellence in clinical practice and for her leadership in the community and in professional organizations. Twelve nurses from Community Medical Centers were also nominated for awards at the event.

The Central San Joaquin Valley Nursing Leadership Coalition holds the annual event to honor Central Valley nurses and give out awards for clinical practice, education, administration/leadership and advanced practice. Scholarships are also given to undergraduate and graduate nursing students.
