In November, several staff from CRMC Infection Control and Quality Management took a tour of Terry’s House.  The Terry’s House staff were gracious and shared its history and its mission, this included sharing how staff can make a difference by donating.

Our teams came back impressed with the services that Terry’s House provides and decided that they wanted to make a difference.  So each department decided to collect items on the Terry’s House Wish List.  Initially, donations were a bit slow to come in, so Infection Control raised the ante and decorated their bin in a festive Christmas theme.   This resulted in a significant increase in staff contributions.

Not to be out done, the Quality Management decorated their bin. This too, resulted in more contributions.

Both bins were delivered to Terry’s House on December 18th.  Because of this need, they also wanted to encourage other departments to get involved and are challenging all of the CRMC departments to give back to Terry’s House.
