It's a great day for Finance employee Irma Lorenzo who was awarded the first of ten Fitbits being given away to Community employees for their participation in a pre-employee engagement survey education activity.

Employees were asked to enter a drawing to win a Fitbit. The only criteria given was to read their facility Engagement flier and tell us one thing they learned about the organization. About 1,000 employees responded and Irma was one of the ten names randomly drawn.

Irma learned that the PTO policy would be changing on July 1 - something she had not yet heard about. The PTO policy changes that went into effect in July included the addition of a new sick bank for taking sick time and she couldn't wait to hear more about that change.

All the winning names have been drawn and James Walker, Community's VP of Employee Relations and Workforce Effectiveness, is secretly hand-delivering the gifts to each employee during their work shift.  See Irma's reaction to the surprise! And keep an eye on the reporting of all winners as we capture their reaction to our visit.
