The day I delivered my little boy brought a whirlwind of emotions, a mix of joy and exhaustion. And in the midst of it all, I was faced with a challenge I hadn't anticipated: breastfeeding. For something that I thought was supposed to feel very natural and instinctual, wasn’t.

Thankfully before my baby and I were discharged from Clovis Community Medical Center, a lactation consultant mentioned the Mother's Resource Center at Community Regional. She told me they specialize in helping moms and babies through breastfeeding challenges no matter where you deliver. So, I decided to give it a shot.

Everyone at the Mother’s Resource Center was absolutely wonderful. They addressed all my insecurities when it came to breastfeeding and helped me find what worked for me and my son. I felt like I had a team of experts behind me, cheering me on every step of the way.

I'm so grateful for the knowledge and support I received from Community. It helped me feel more confident as a first-time mom and gave me the tools I needed to provide my little one with the best possible start.
