A Central Valley native, Dr. Wilkins is originally from Firebaugh and graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Bachelor of Science degree in public health. She received her medical degree from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lynchburg, VA. Dr. Wilkins went on to complete her internship at Sovah Health in Danville, VA and she completed her residency at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields in Illinois. Dr. Wilkins is board certified in internal medicine.
As an internal medicine specialist, she is passionate about helping her patients take control of their health and give them the tools they need to live their healthiest, best lives. Dr. Wilkins specializes in diabetes, heart disease and other conditions related to obesity and other metabolic syndromes—which are some of the region’s top health challenges. She takes pride in celebrating the “wins” with her patients and being a support for the highs and lows of life.
In addition to helping her patients, Dr. Wilkins greatest joy is spending time with her husband and two children. In her free time, Dr. Wilkins can be found enjoying her family, exercising and has a deep passion for her bible studies. She aims to live her life and lead with compassion and without judgment.
