The Bridge Program Helps Fight Addiction

Community's innovative Bridge program helps patients struggling with opioid and other substance use disorders. The Bridge program allows anyone struggling with addiction to simply walk into the Community Regional Medical Center or Clovis Community Medical Center emergency rooms. There, they receive Suboxone and other medications to safely control withdrawals, along with counseling and a direct pathway into outpatient recovery services.

“Our Bridge Program really helps connect people immediately to the medication that helps them with opioid use disorder, and then also the follow up so that they have an appointment and a place to go after they leave our hospital or emergency department..."
