Community's innovative Bridge program helps patients struggling with opioid and other substance use disorders. The Bridge program allows anyone struggling with addiction to simply walk into the Community Regional Medical Center or Clovis Community Medical Center emergency rooms. There, they receive Suboxone and other medications to safely control withdrawals, along with counseling and a direct pathway into outpatient recovery services.
Bridge program navigators facilitate rapid, same-day treatment for patients, ensuring easy access to medication for addiction treatment (MAT) across all departments.
Navigators work closely with the community to provide guidance throughout the healthcare process, ensuring patients receive the right services and support.
Navigator's work hard to foster a welcoming hospital environment that avoids stigmatizing substance use and recognizes racial disparities in care.
