PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program Director

Dr. Sabrina Mahal is the PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program Director at Community Medical Centers. She serves as a preceptor to PGY1 pharmacy residents and pharmacy students.

Dr. Mahal earned her Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree from University of the Pacific, and her Doctor of Pharmacy from University of the Pacific, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy.  

She has also completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at Community Medical Centers and subsequently obtained Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist certification.

She currently has memberships with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and California Society of Health-System Pharmacists (CSHP).



Residency Preceptors

Hospital Administration

Dr. Royston is the System Director of Pharmacy Services and precepts PGY1 residents as well as pharmacy students. Dr. Royston received her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and cell biology and her Master of Science in biomedical science at University of California, San Diego.

She received her Doctor of Pharmacy at University of California, San Francisco. She completed a general pharmacy practice residency at University of Arizona and a critical care pharmacy practice residency at Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Royston worked as a clinical pharmacy specialist and clinical pharmacy manager until 2012.  Since then, she has had the opportunity to work in several departments outside of pharmacy – Quality Management, High Reliability Culture and Supply Chain Management. During that time, she received her master of healthcare administration from National University and became a Certified Professional of Healthcare Quality.

Dr. Royston brings these diverse experiences to her leadership role in pharmacy and to the administration rotations. Dr. Royston currently has memberships with American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

Dr. Timothy M. Lopez is the Quality and Education Pharmacy Manager at Community Medical Centers. He serves as a preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents, assistant clinical professor for University of California, San Francisco pharmacy students, and adjunct professor for Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of Pacific pharmacy students.

Dr. Lopez received his Bachelor of Arts in chemistry at California State University, Fresno, and his Doctor of Pharmacy at University of California, San Francisco. He completed a pharmacy practice residency at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton, Calif., in 2001. Dr. Lopez was honored with the Longs Foundation Prize for Excellence in Teaching Award ("Teacher of the Year") for the UCSF Fresno site in 2005 and 2008. The Longs Award is the highest teaching award given by the UCSF School of Pharmacy.

Since 2008, Dr. Lopez has been a pharmacy manager for Community Medical Centers and his current professional memberships include American Society of Health System Pharmacists and California Society of Health System Pharmacists - Sierra Society Chapter.

Dr. Stephen Rettig is the Pharmacy Supply Chain Manager at Community Medical Centers. He serves as a preceptor to PGY1 pharmacy residents, University of California, San Francisco pharmacy students, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific pharmacy students, and California Health Sciences University pharmacy students.

Dr. Rettig received his Bachelor of Science in biology and minor in chemistry from California State University, Fresno in 2008 and Doctor of Pharmacy from University of California, San Diego, Skaggs School of Pharmacy in 2012.

He completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at Community Medical Centers in 2013. He currently has memberships with the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

Dr. Seo is the Inpatient Pharmacy Operations Manager for Community Regional Medical Center. He serves as a preceptor to PGY1 pharmacy residents, University of California, San Francisco pharmacy students, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific pharmacy students, and California Health Sciences University pharmacy students.

Dr. Seo received his Doctor of Pharmacy from University of the Pacific Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy in 2013. 

Dr. Abdelhalim is the Inpatient Pharmacy Operations Manager for Clovis Community Medical Center, Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital, and Community Behavioral Health Center. He currently precepts PGY1 pharmacy residents, California Health Sciences University pharmacy students, and serves as an adjunct professor for the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific.

Dr. Abdelhalim received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Cairo University Faculty of Pharmacy in 2002, and Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy in 2016. He has extensive experience in the outpatient pharmacy setting, mostly as a pharmacy manager.

He joined Community Medical Centers in 2014, and served as a Clinical Pharmacist, and then Pharmacy Supervisor at Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital. His responsibilities have since expanded to include Clovis Community Medical Center and Community Behavioral Health Center.

Dr. Anderson-Stokes is the Manager of Quality, Accreditation, Regulatory and HRO (High Reliability Organization) for Community Medical Centers. She currently precepts PGY1 pharmacy residents, California Health Sciences University pharmacy students, and serves as an adjunct professor for the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific, and associate clinical professor for University of California, San Francisco School of Pharmacy.

Dr. Anderson-Stokes received her Doctor of Pharmacy from University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2002. She completed the Pharmacy Practice Residency Program at Community Medical Centers in 2003 and practiced at the Veterans Affairs Central California Health Care System in Fresno, CA. Since returning to Community Medical Centers in 2006, she has served as Trauma Critical Care Pharmacist at Community Regional Medical Center and Medication Safety Coordinator at Clovis Community Medical Center.

Dr. Anderson-Stokes was honored with the UCSF Apple for Excellence in Teaching Award in 2009 and 2011. She is a member of the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) and became a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) in 2022.

Dr. Dunn is an Inpatient Pharmacy Supervisor for Community Regional Medical Center. He serves as a preceptor to PGY1 pharmacy residents, University of California, San Francisco pharmacy students, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific pharmacy students, and California Health Sciences University pharmacy students.

Dr. Dunn received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2008 and his Doctor of Pharmacy from the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific in 2011. Dr. Dunn started his career as an inpatient pharmacist at Kaiser Permanente Fresno and Clovis Community Medical Center in 2012. 

Dr. Kwan is an Inpatient Pharmacy Supervisor for Community Regional Medical Center. Dr. Kwan received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering  from the University of California, Davis in 2002 and his Doctor of Pharmacy from University of the Pacific Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy in 2009. Dr. Kwan also received a Masters in Business Administration from the California State University of Fresno, Craig School of Business in 2022. 

Dr. Janice Paden is the inpatient pharmacy supervisor for Clovis Community, Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital and Community Behavioral Health Center.

Dr. Ross Anderson is the inpatient pharmacy supervisor for Clovis Community, Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital and Community Behavioral Health Center. He is native to Fresno and received his Bachelor of Science in anatomy/physiology from California State University and a Doctor of Pharmacy from University of Pacific, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.  

Dr. Holcomb is the Director of Clinical Content and Specialty Informatics for Community Medical Centers, thus offering a unique rotation experience for our pharmacy residents.

Dr. Nunes is the Sterile Compounding Coordinator for Community Medical Centers.

Critical Care

Dr. Lu is a critical care clinical pharmacy specialist in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. She serves as a preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents, as well as pharmacy students from the University of California, San Francisco, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific, and California Health Sciences University.

Dr. Lu received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Hawaii, Manoa, in 2006, and Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of California, San Francisco, in 2010. Dr. Lu completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at Community Regional Medical Center in 2011.  

Dr. Lu was honored with the Longs Foundation Award for Excellence in Teaching (“Preceptor of the Year”) for the UCSF Fresno site in 2015 and 2018, and was honored with the UCSF Apple for Excellence in Teaching award in 2017 and 2019. The Longs Award is the highest teaching award given by the UCSF School of Pharmacy.

Dr. Nadine Musallam is a critical care clinical pharmacy specialist and rounds in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. She serves as a preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents. Dr. Musallam received her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of California, San Diego, and Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Southern California.

She completed her PGY1 in pharmacy practice and PGY2 in critical care at New York University Langone Medical Center. After residency, she served as a Medical ICU specialist at Mount Sinai in New York City until joining Community Regional.

While at Community Regional, she has been awarded preceptor of the year for the pharmacy residency program as well as the non-physician teaching award for UCSF medical residents. She’s a member of American Society of Health-System Pharmacy and Society of Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Melissa Reger is a critical care clinical pharmacy specialist in burn and surgery. She serves as a preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy practice residents, as well as pharmacy students from the University of California San Francisco School of Pharmacy and the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at University of the Pacific.

Dr. Reger received her Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts in Zoology from Miami University of Ohio in 2004, and Doctor of Pharmacy from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy in 2008.

She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at University Hospital - UC Health in Cincinnati, Ohio, and a PGY2 Critical Care Residency at Eskenazi Health/Indiana University Health (formerly Wishard Health Services/Clarian Health) in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dr. Reger was awarded the UCSF Apple for Excellence in Teaching award in 2017, 2018 and 2021, and was named Preceptor of the Year by the 2018-2019 Community Regional PGY1 pharmacy practice residents. She currently has memberships with the American Burn Association, Society of Critical Care Medicine, and American College of Clinical Pharmacy.

Dr. Toews (pronounced: TAYVZ) is a clinical pharmacy specialist in the neurocritical care unit. She serves as a preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents, as well as students from University of California, San Francisco, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific, and California Health Sciences University.

Dr. Toews received a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences from University of California, Irvine, and a Doctor of Pharmacy from Roseman University of Health Sciences.

She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Community Regional Medical Center in 2016 and subsequently obtained board certifications in critical care and pharmacotherapy. Dr. Toews is Emergency Neurological Life Support certified through the Neurocritical Care Society.

Dr. Toews currently has memberships with Neurocritical Care Society, American College of Clinical Pharmacists, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and American Pharmacists Association. Dr. Toews was awarded the UCSF Apples for Excellence in Teaching Award for the UCSF Fresno site in 2021.

Dr. Vu is a clinical pharmacy specialist in Trauma-Surgery Critical Care. She serves as an critical care rotation preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents as well as an adjunct clinical faculty preceptor for UCSF, UOP, and CHSU pharmacy students on their APPE acute care and elective rotations.

Dr. Vu received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, Immunology & Molecular Genetics from University of California, Los Angeles in 2000, and Doctor of Pharmacy from Western University of Health Sciences in 2007.

She completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at Community Medical Centers in 2008. She currently has memberships with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, California Pharmacists Association and Society of Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Xiao is a critical care clinical pharmacy specialist in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. She serves as a preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents and pharmacy students. Dr. Xiao received her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and Doctor of Pharmacy from University of California, San Francisco.

She completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at Community Regional Medical Center and PGY2 training in critical care at Rush University Medical Center. 

Dr. Cihunka is a clinical pharmacist at Clovis Community Medical Center. He serves as a preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents.

Emergency Medicine

Dr. Mallory Cruz is a clinical pharmacy specialist in Emergency Medicine. She serves as a preceptor to PGY1 pharmacy residents, University of California, San Francisco pharmacy students, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific pharmacy students, California Health Sciences University pharmacy students and University of California, San Francisco/Fresno Emergency Medicine residents.

Dr. Cruz received her Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from California State University, Fresno in 2007 and Doctor of Pharmacy from University of California, San Diego, Skaggs School of Pharmacy in 2011. She completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at Community Medical Centers in 2012.

Dr. Ibarra is a clinical pharmacy specialist in Emergency Medicine at Community Regional Medical Center. He precepts PGY1 pharmacy residents and pharmacy students from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific, and California Health Sciences University. Additionally, Dr. Ibarra is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the CHSU College of Medicine.  

Dr. Ibarra completed a PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Stanford Health Care, and graduated from UCSF. He obtained a BA in Psychology and Minor in Education and Applied Psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Dr. Ibarra recently received the following awards: 2019 CRMC Exceptional Mentorship, 2020 UCSF Apple for Excellence in Teaching, 2021 CRMC Preceptor of the Year, 2021 UCSF Apple for Excellence in Teaching, 2022 Community Medical Centers Most Versatile Preceptor, and 2022 UCSF Fresno APPE Preceptor of the Year.

Dr. Cano-Errecart is a clinical pharmacy specialist in Emergency Medicine at Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno, CA. She serves as a preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents and pharmacy students.

Dr. Cano-Errecart received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of New Mexico, and Doctorate of Pharmacy from Roseman University. She then completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at the Cleveland Clinic and PGY2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residency at Novant Health.

Dr. Ford is a clinical pharmacist at Clovis Community Medical Center who precepts students and residents in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Ford is native to the Fresno area; he attended Fresno State before earning his Pharm.D. at Pacific University in Oregon.

He returned to the valley to complete his PGY1 residency at Valley Children’s Hospital before coming on staff at Clovis Community.

Dr. Ford enjoys precepting and research. He has been voted the Clovis Community Medical Center Pharmacy Residency Preceptor of the Year three times.

Hospital Operations

Dr. Joel Tallman is a clinical pharmacist at Fresno Community Medical Center. He serves as a preceptor for both PGY1 pharmacy residents and for pharmacy students from the University of California – San Francisco, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy at the University of the Pacific and California Health Sciences University College of Pharmacy in the hospital practice rotation.

Dr. Tallman received his Bachelor of Science from the Oregon State University and Doctorate of Pharmacy from University of Southern California, College of Pharmacy.

Dr. Linda Young is a clinical pharmacist at Clovis Community Medical Center with a focus in surgical services. She serves as a preceptor for both PGY1 pharmacy residents and for pharmacy students from the University of California – San Francisco, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy at the University of the Pacific and California Health Sciences University College of Pharmacy in the hospital practice rotation.

Dr. Young received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California – Santa Cruz and Doctorate of Pharmacy from California Northstate University, College of Pharmacy.

Infectious Diseases

Dr. Méndez is the Antimicrobial Stewardship Coordinator. She serves as a preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents, University of California - San Francisco, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific, and University of Florida pharmacy students, as well as Sunnyside High School Doctors Academy students.

Dr. Méndez received her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy in Ann Arbor and completed a pharmacy practice residency and infectious diseases specialty residency at the University of California, San Francisco. She received her Master of Public Health from the University of California, San Jose.

Internal Medicine

Dr. Loi is a clinical pharmacy specialist in Internal Medicine. She serves as a preceptor to PGY1 pharmacy residents, University of California, San Francisco pharmacy students, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific pharmacy students, and California Health Sciences University pharmacy students.

Dr. Loi received her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Rhode Island in 2016. She completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at Yale New Haven Hospital at Yale New Haven Health System in 2017.

Dr. Lee is a clinical pharmacist at Clovis Community Medical Center. She serves as a preceptor to Community Medical Centers PGY1 pharmacy residents and pharmacy students.

Dr. Lee received her Bachelor of Science in biology from University of the Pacific, Stockton, in 2008 and Doctor of Pharmacy from University of Pacific, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy in 2012.

Dr. Patel is a clinical pharmacist at Clovis Community Medical Center. He serves as an internal medicine preceptor for PGY1 residents and APPE students. Dr. Patel completed his pharmacy training at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University in Boston, MA, in 2021, and completed a PGY1 residency with Community Medical Centers in 2022.

Medication Safety

Dr. Avo Arikian is the Medication Safety Coordinator for Clovis Community Medical Center. He serves as preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents and pharmacy students. Dr. Arikian received his bachelor of science in biology from California State University, Fresno in 2009 and doctor of pharmacy from University of Pacific, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2012.

He completed the Community Regional Medical Center's PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program in 2013. He currently has membership with the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

Dr. Tyler Fallert is the Medication Safety Coordinator for Community Regional Medical Center. He serves as a preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents and pharmacy students. Dr. Fallert received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from California State University San Marcos in 2015 and Doctor of Pharmacy from University of Pacific Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2019.

Dr. Fallert completed his PGY1 Pharmacy Residency with Community Medical Centers in 2020. 

Oncology

Dr. Karah Ali is a clinical pharmacy specialist in Oncology. He serves as a preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents and University of California, San Francisco, and Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of Pacific pharmacy students.

Dr. Karah Ali received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Philadelphia University in Amman, Jordan, and Doctor of Pharmacy from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. He completed an oncology pharmacy residency at National University of Singapore (NUS).

He is a member of American Society of Health-System Pharmacy, Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association, and International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners.

Dr. Main is a clinical oncology pharmacist at the Community Cancer Institute and serves as a preceptor to Community Medical Centers PGY1 pharmacy residents.  

Dr. Main received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Davis in 2016 and her Doctor of Pharmacy from University of the Pacific Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy in 2019. She completed a  PGY1 pharmacy residency at Community Medical Centers in 2020 and currently has membership with the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. 

Dr. Stearns is a clinical oncology pharmacist at the Community Cancer Institute at Clovis Community and she serves as a preceptor to Community Medical Centers PGY1 pharmacy residents.

Dr. Stearns received her Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree from University of the Pacific and her Doctor of Pharmacy from University of the Pacific - Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy in 2015. She also completed a PGY1 pharmacy residency at Valley Children’s Hospital.

Fouad practices in the ambulatory care setting as a clinical oncology pharmacist under Community Medical Oncology Specialists at Community Cancer Institute. Fouad has been in this role for 5 years providing treatment consultations to patients, clinical trial services, as well as clinic & provider support.

Fouad received his Doctor of Pharmacy from California Health Sciences University in 2018. He currently precepts APPE students from California Health Sciences University (CHSU) in both Ambulatory and Elective rotations, as well as serving as a preceptor to Community Medical Centers PGY1 pharmacy residents. Fouad was presented with a Preceptor of the Year Innovation Award in 2019 from CHSU.

Fouad currently volunteers as the Treasurer for the Central Valley Pharmacists Association, which is the local chapter for the California Pharmacists Association.

Pediatrics

Dr. Covarrubias is a pediatric clinical pharmacy specialist in the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units. She serves as a preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents, as well as for pharmacy students from University of California-San Francisco, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific, and California Health Sciences University College of Pharmacy.

Dr. Covarrubias received her Bachelor of Arts in molecular and cell biology from University of California, Berkeley in 2010 and Doctor of Pharmacy from University of California, San Francisco School of Pharmacy in 2015. She completed the Community Regional Medical Center's PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program in 2016. Dr. Covarrubias was awarded the UCSF Apples for Excellence in Teaching Award for the UCSF Fresno site in 2021.

Dr. Husted is a clinical pharmacy specialist in the neonatal intensive care unit. He serves as a preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents, adjunct professor for the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific, adjunct professor for the California Health Sciences University, and serves as an associate clinical professor for University of California, San Francisco pharmacy students.

He also serves as a preceptor for local high school students in the Doctor's Academy Program as well as undergraduate pre-health major students in the Health Care Opportunities Program.

Dr. Husted received his Doctor of Pharmacy from University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2005. Dr. Husted completed his Pediatric Pharmacy Practice Residency at Valley Children’s Hospital in 2006. He also earned his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from CSU Fresno in 2017. Dr. Husted was awarded the UCSF Apple for Excellence in Teaching Award for the UCSF Fresno Pharmacy site in 2011 and the Outstanding Non-Physician Teaching Award from the UCSF Fresno Medical Residency Program in 2020.

He currently has memberships with the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists, Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group, and American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition where he holds a number of leadership and committee member roles.

Dr. Ip is a clinical pharmacy specialist in neonatal intensive and pediatric intensive care units at Community Regional Medical Center. She received her Bachelor of Science in neurobiology and physiology from University of Maryland College Park and Doctorate of Pharmacy from Howard University in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Ip completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at Howard University Hospital in 2010 and PGY2 Emergency Medicine pharmacy residency at Gaston Memorial Hospital in 2011.  

Dr. Ip serves as a preceptor for Community Medical Centers PGY1 pharmacy residents and students from University of California – San Francisco, University of the Pacific – Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and California Health Sciences University.

Dr. Lien is a pediatric clinical pharmacy specialist in the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units. He serves as a preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents, as well as for pharmacy students from University of California – San Francisco, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific, and California Health Sciences University College of Pharmacy. He also serves as a preceptor for local high school students in the Doctor’s Academy Program.

Dr. Lien received his Bachelor of Science in pharmacy from the Taipei Medical University, Taipei, Taiwan in 2001. He earned his Master of Science in clinical and administrative pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Iowa in 2004 and 2008 respectively. He completed the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Community Regional Medical Center in 2011.

Dr. Lien was awarded the UCSF Apple for Excellence in Teaching Award for the UCSF Fresno Pharmacy site in 2014.

Dr. Sahar Taha is a pediatric clinical pharmacy specialist in the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units. She serves as a preceptor for PGY1 pharmacy residents, as well as pharmacy students from University of California-San Francisco, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University College of Pharmacy.      

Dr. Taha received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Food Administration at California State University, Fresno, and her Doctor of Pharmacy at University of the Pacific Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy. She then completed a Pediatric Pharmacy Practice Residency at Valley Children’s Hospital in 2017.  

Women and Children's

Dr. Megan Ikeda is a clinical pharmacist at Clovis Community Medical Center. She serves as a preceptor to Community Medical Center Centers PGY1 pharmacy residents for the Women and Children’s rotation.

Dr. Ikeda received a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology from the University of California, Irvine, before earning a Doctor of Pharmacy from The Ohio State University. She is a native to the Fresno area and came back to the Valley to complete her PGY-1 pharmacy residency at Valley Children’s Hospital.
